My journey to healing, transformation, and ascension has been anything but linear. It’s been a path filled with trials, revelations, and deep, soul-stirring moments that have shaped me into the woman I am today. I’m Empress Angelique, and I’m honored to share my story—a story of alchemy, where pain was transmuted into purpose, loss became the fire that refined my soul, and faith became the foundation of my divine transformation. It’s a journey that led me to found B Elevated Holistic Wellness, a sanctuary for high-achieving women over 30 ready to alchemize their lives and step into abundant, joyful, and purpose-driven living.

 

From the very beginning, I felt the stirrings of something greater within me—an unshakable pull toward the divine mysteries of life. Growing up, I was deeply connected to my Indigenous Choctaw and African roots through the teachings of my Nanny and Mama Moore. These powerful matriarchs were my first alchemists, transforming the simple elements of the earth—herbs, roots, and rituals—into profound healing and wisdom. They taught me the sacred rhythms of nature and the importance of honoring the cycles of life. Little did I know, these lessons would become the foundation of my life’s work.

 

By 2003, I had begun my own spiritual practices, delving into Tantric Buddhism, meditation, journaling, and spiritual baths. At that time, my life appeared golden. I had a six-figure income, a company car, a successful career in the beauty industry, and all the outward markers of achievement. But beneath the surface, the deeper truths of my soul were waiting to emerge. Like lead yearning to become gold, my spirit was preparing for transformation.

 

In 2012, the fire of alchemy came. A car accident shattered the life I had meticulously built. The crash revealed deeper fractures in my life: a diagnosis of uterine fibroids the size of limes and grapefruits, cervical cancer, and the unimaginable loss of my unborn child. As I faced one devastating blow after another, I lost my job, my car, and eventually my home. My savings vanished, swallowed by medical bills. My body weakened; my spirit fractured. I felt like everything I had known was being stripped away, leaving nothing but raw, unrecognizable elements of myself.

 

But this is the nature of true alchemy. The lead must be burned, purified, and broken apart before it can transform into gold. At my lowest point, I heard the quiet yet powerful voice of the Divine: “You’re being broken into place. Trust the fire; it’s purifying you.” It was in that moment that I realized I wasn’t being punished—I was being prepared.

 

I began to rebuild, not by grasping for the external markers of success, but by returning to the sacred practices that had always anchored me. I wrote in my gratitude journal daily, even when it felt impossible. I meditated each morning, allowing silence to speak to my soul. I honored my ancestors, drawing strength from their resilience. I immersed myself in the teachings of the Law of Attraction, shifting my thoughts from despair to possibility. Slowly, the lead of my life began to alchemize into something greater.

 

By 2013, the universe began to mirror my internal transformation. Opportunities appeared, and I accepted a position at Argosy University. I pursued a second master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, graduating with honors in 2015. My children and I moved into a new home, and I entered remission from cancer. But even as I celebrated these milestones, I felt the stirrings of a higher calling. I realized that the gold I was creating was not just for me—it was meant to illuminate the paths of others.

 

In 2017, I faced another initiation: a total abdominal hysterectomy to remove 14 fibroid tumors. Unlike before, I entered this trial with unshakable faith. I leaned into my holistic practices, embraced a plant-based lifestyle, and deepened my connection to the Divine. This time, I understood that the fire was not my enemy; it was my teacher. Each challenge was refining me, stripping away what no longer served and revealing the pure, radiant essence of who I truly am.

 

During meditation one morning, I received a vision that poured through me like liquid gold. I saw the purpose of my life laid out before me. I was called to guide women through their own alchemical journeys—to help them transmute their pain into power, their doubts into confidence, and their limitations into limitless potential. That was the birth of BElevated Holistic Wellness, a sacred space for women to rise, reclaim their divine essence, and create lives of joy, abundance, and purpose.

 

My journey of transformation didn’t stop there. It led me across the globe, where I deepened my connection to ancient wisdom. In Kemet (ancient Egypt), I walked the sacred paths of temples, feeling the presence of the goddess Isis awaken the Divine Feminine within me. As I sailed down the Nile, I felt the sun’s rays activate ancient codes of wisdom in my DNA, illuminating truths that had been dormant for lifetimes. In Costa Rica, I sat in sacred ceremonies with indigenous elders, learning the profound alchemy of plant medicine and sound vibration.

 

In 2024, I experienced my most profound initiation during a Bufo ceremony with Mayan shamans in Mexico. As the sacred medicine guided me inward, I felt the voices of every woman in my bloodline echo through me. Their pain, their strength, and their stories moved through my sacral chakra like a surge of molten energy, bursting forth in a release of wails and tears. That release transmuted into joy, love, and liberation, and with it came the emergence of an ancient tongue—a language of the soul that reminded me of my sacred role as a guide and alchemist.

 

Through this journey of healing, embodying my Divine Sacred Feminine, and walking in unshakable faith while being spirit-led, I was aligned with my divine sacred partner, Sankofa, in 2023. Our connection is a testament to the alchemy of love—a partnership rooted in mutual growth, divine purpose, and the embodiment of wholeness. Together, we honor the sacred dance of the masculine and feminine, walking as examples of what it means to rise in love and purpose.

 

But the trials of grief reminded me that alchemy is an ongoing process. As I entered a new chapter of life as an empty nester, I was met with a deep sense of loss. Then, in November of 2023, my beloved father passed away, followed by the loss of my Choctaw elder mentor in December. While holding space for my wellness center and apothecary, I found myself navigating waves of sorrow, leaning on every spiritual tool I had cultivated over the years. These losses deepened my understanding of the cycles of life and the power of transmuting grief into a higher purpose. They became another sacred fire, refining me even further and strengthening my resolve to guide others through their own transformations.

 

Today, as a Life Alchemy Coach, I specialize in helping high-achieving women over 30 transform their lives by combining mindset mastery, life transformation rituals, ancient wisdom, and spiritual teachings. Through masterclasses, retreats, coaching programs, masterminds, and global speaking engagements, I guide women to reconnect with their divine essence, break through limiting beliefs, and create abundant, joyful, and purpose-driven lives.

 

B Elevated Holistic Wellness integrates ancient wisdom with modern healing modalities like Reiki, sound therapy, crystal healing, journaling, energy work, and plant-based living. I hold space for women to not only heal but to rise as the empresses of their own lives.
